Fueled by the unique mixture of gasoline, horsepower and testosterone, the American ritual of "Crusin" accelerated in popularity during the '50s and '60s. All shapes and sizes of customized vehicles were suddenly on the road to grab attention of the town's prettiest girls as well as the envy of custom car fans. The '49 Merc and Rocket Oil would show up at the top of any enthusiast's list. Every since the Rocket oil was made in 2000 and designed by Phil Rhielman, it became a popular casting mostly for box sets and convention cars.
